This senior position requires expertise in all aspects of multifamily affordable housing lending with a focus on loan origination and asset management. Briefly, the key responsibilities are:<\/p>\n<p>Underwriting affordable rental housing loans to developers, including evaluating development proposals, performing financial and feasibility analysis, and assessing the impact on City repayments and policy objectives.<br \/>\nAssisting the Manager of Asset Management with refinancings and workouts with developers, with functions similar to those for origination as well as assessing asset performance.<br \/>\nManaging City-held land assets and RFP processes for disposition of City-owned properties.<br \/>\nSupervision of one full-time employee (FTE) and task oversight of another one to two FTEs.<\/p>\n<p>This position requires someone who can work effectively with City staff from other departments, developers, and outside agencies; work well both independently and as part of a team; and have excellent written, quantitative, and oral communication skills.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates for the Senior Development Officer position should submit an application and resume electronically by March 19, 2014.
